Book Coaching
Caring for a pet who's growing older, unwell, or nearing the end of their life can feel overwhelming - even when you love them fiercely. I offer one-to-one coaching to help you navigate this stage with more confidence and a lot less guesswork.
1
This Is For You If You Are The
-
Caregiver of a dog aged 7 or older

Feeling more empowered to advocate for your pet with their vet and knowing what questions to ask
-
Feeling supported, with a community of care around you - this is a journey that's often experienced alone, carrying grief that goes unacknowledged
-
Feeling in control throughout your pet's autumn and winter phases of life, rather than overwhelmed by them
-
Having improved quality of life for both your pet and you

What's Included in Every Session
When you work with me, you get more than an hour of conversation. You get concrete support to carry with you.
-
A one-page report after every session, summarising what we discussed and the next steps to take
-
Easy checklists to use between sessions and talking points to bring into your next vet consultation
-
60 minutes of undivided attention from a geriatric pet care coach - a former veterinary nurse who has walked alongside countless families through their pets' autumn and winter, and beyond
-
Free access to a dedicated support group of fellow coachees and me, there whenever you need a question answered or just someone who understands (free for anyone signing up before October 2026)

How I Coach
My style is a hybrid of mentoring and coaching. I'll give you practical advice, grounded in experience and research, and support you in working out what's right for your pet and your life. There's no one-size-fits-all plan here - everything is built around your context.
I work across four elements of care, for both you and your pet:
Physical, Psychological, Emotional and Spiritual.

How We Work Together
Every pet and every caregiver is different, but I suggest starting with a block of five sessions, which gives us enough time to work through all four areas properly, with room to plan for the inevitable - the end.
Wherever you and your pet are on the journey, it has been shown that exploring what matters to you and them as they near the end is just as important as enjoying being with them in the now.
So, even though this might be a tough topic for you to broach, we will try to go there with the tenderness and compassion it deserves.
Prefer to start smaller? You're welcome to book a single session first and add more later - there's no pressure to commit upfront.
Sessions are usually held virtually over video call, but I will offer in-person sessions to families living within 30 minutes' cycling distance of EX6.

"I’ve really appreciated having Sieske on our team with Freddie. Practically helping me assess the home environment to add some ease for his mobility [...] so we can avoid additional strain on his body.
If your pet is elderly or suffering in some way, I can't recommend working with Autumn Animals highly enough - small changes can make a big difference!"
— Nicola, caregiver to Freddie
"Sieske advised us and helped care for our cat Zorro in his Autumn years. We really valued her knowledge, support and dedication to our pet."
— Mr. Philips, caregiver to Zorro
