Autumn Animals is a brand name and the Intellectual Property of Sieske Valk, based in Devon, UK. For the purposes of data protection law, Sieske Valk is the data controller for any personal data collected through this website.

What personal data we collect

We collect personal data when you:

Get in touch via the contact form or email
Book a discovery call or coaching session via Google Calendar's appointment scheduling
Complete an intake survey or research survey via Google Forms
Sign up to the newsletter
Leave a testimonial or review on our Trustpilot page

This may include your name, email address, phone number, and any details you choose to share about yourself or your pet (for example, in a coaching enquiry, intake survey, or research survey).

Our free Quality of Life Assessment calculator can be used anonymously and does not collect or store any personal data.

If you book a coaching session, your call may also be recorded and transcribed using Fathom for note-taking purposes. We'll let you know this is happening before the call, and you're welcome to ask for the recording to be turned off.

We may also collect limited technical data automatically when you visit the site, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, via Google Analytics and Wix Analytics.

How we use your data

Fathom - recording and transcribing coaching calls, where applicable
Google Gemini and Claude (Cowork) - drafting written content

These providers only receive the data they need to perform their function, and have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your data.

How we use AI

We use Google Gemini and Claude (Cowork) to help draft content such as website copy, articles, and social media posts, and Grammarly to help edit it. These tools are not given identifiable client or caregiver details, just general topics and themes.

We use Fathom to record and transcribe coaching calls for note-taking purposes. This means call recordings, which may include personal details about you and your pet, are processed by Fathom's systems. We'll always tell you in advance if a call is being recorded, and you can ask for the recording to be switched off at any time.

We do not use AI to make decisions about your care or coaching without human review.

This website uses cookies to help it function properly and to understand how visitors use the site. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Enquiry and coaching records, including call recordings and transcripts, are kept for up to two years after our working relationship ends, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

Children's data

This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
