These terms apply when you book a discovery call, coaching session, or package with Sieske Valk, or use this website. By booking a call or session, you agree to these terms.

 

Discovery calls

Discovery calls are free and offered so we can both get a feel for whether working together is the right fit.

• You can reschedule a discovery call by emailing me directly at hello@autumnanimals.com, with at least 12 hours' notice.

• If a discovery call is rescheduled more than three times, even with sufficient notice, I reserve the right to no longer offer a free discovery call, as this affects my time and planning.

 

Booking and payment

• Coaching sessions and packages are paid for in advance, either as a single session or a package.

• A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received.

• Payments are taken via Stripe. Klarna instalment payments are available at checkout; any agreement to pay in instalments is between you and Klarna, and is your own responsibility.

 

Cancellations and rescheduling

• Coaching sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice.

• Coaching sessions can be cancelled with at least 3 days' notice.

• Refunds are only given if your companion animal has passed away, or otherwise at my discretion.

 

What coaching includes

Coaching provides practical, emotional and educational support for caregivers of ageing, unwell or palliative pets - including home environment adjustments, support advocating with your vet, and ongoing guidance.

 

Liability and disclaimer

Coaching is supportive and educational. It is not veterinary advice, and does not replace the diagnosis, treatment or guidance of a qualified veterinary professional. Always consult your vet for medical decisions about your pet.
 

I do not make or guarantee any decisions about your pet's treatment or end of life, including euthanasia. These decisions, and the responsibility for them, remain with you and your vet at all times.

To the extent permitted by law, Sieske Valk is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of coaching services or this website.

Intellectual property

All written content on this website, including articles, coaching materials, and the Quality of Life Assessment tool, is the property of Sieske Valk and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

 

Use of this website

This website and the free Quality of Life Assessment tool are provided for general information and support. They're not a substitute for professional veterinary advice.

 

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.

 

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
